In this clear and comprehensive app, discover all the important wines and winemakers in as well as a special on the host region of South Tyrol - independently tested and evaluated by the editorial team of the VINUM Wine Guide under the direction of Matthias F. Mangold and Harald Scholl.
The VINUM wine guide app has been optimized and expanded for the 2024 edition. The current data package contains information about
• the 13 German wine-growing regions,
• the around 1000 best wine producers,
• over 10,000 selected and rated wines,
• selected winemakers and wines from the host region of South Tyrol,
• the best wines and Best Buy wines in top 10 lists,
• the winners of the VINUM Wine Guide 2024.
The VINUM Wine Guide app offers quick and practical service in a handy format:
• a variety of standard sorting functions, e.g. by grape variety, price, rating, growing region, producer or vintage,
• additional sorting functions such as the targeted search for the top wines of the vintage, price-performance winners, organic wineries or the editors' special drinking tips,
• Map and radius search,
• direct telephone and email functions as well as links to the wineries' websites,
• the ability to create your own favorites lists,
• Wine recommendations from the VINUM community,
• Data updated until the subsequent edition of VINUM Wine Guide 2025 is published
The VINUM Wine Guide is published annually by VINUM, Europe's largest wine magazine. The editors-in-chief responsible for the content are Matthias F. Mangold and Harald Scholl, who are ed by a well-rehearsed team of tasters made up of professional wine experts.
Unlike other German wine guides, inclusion in the VINUM wine guide is free for winemakers - they pay neither for tasting and evaluating their wines nor for the placement of pictures. The editorial team's claim: No winemaker or wine of importance should be missing from the VINUM wine guide .
